It’s the time of the year I love most – blossoms, freesias, daffodils and all the sweet senses of spring. Thanks to everyone who attended from near and far, it was lovely to see you all. There was a bit of a discussion around what kind of support was available through Mary Potter and Te Omanga Hospice (e.g short stay admissions for pain and or symptom management) and questions about how to register with them, etc, and could I organise someone to come along to a meeting. Michael and Gillian Harris presented a “Meditation” session – making time to just “BE” is important in today’s fast paced world. The session was only short but incredibly relaxing, and rejuvenating at the same time.
