In October there is a flurry of pink that sweeps across the country. Breast Cancer Awareness month brings out many shades of the colour. And although it is fantastic that breast cancer has this wave of awareness, for Sweet Louise members, the fit often isn’t pink.
Today is International Metastatic Breast Cancer (MBC) Day, raising awareness of secondary, incurable breast cancer and highlighting that not all breast cancer can be cured. Most importantly, it is a day to honour the women and men living with Metastatic Breast Cancer, a day to celebrate the strength and beauty of those who will not survive their diagnosis.
