The NZ Chefs Association in Wellington raised an amazing $1760.70 for Sweet Louise.

Loaf sponsored our sweet treats at the November meeting – Members got to sample spicy carrot loaf, walnut and banana, gooey caramel slice, cranberry and pistachio slice – all very delicious! Many thanks to Loaf for the yummy treats. Followed by fabulous fresh asparagus flans, garden salad and fresh summer fruits made by Lynn.

Anita Sarginson, NZ Chefs Association National Ambassador and Glenn Curphey, President for Wellington Chefs Association popped in. The NZ Chefs Association in Wellington held a “Chefs Love Breasts” Fundraiser. The cookies they sold raised $1760.70 for Sweet Louise.

Many thanks to Gabrielle Isaak from CanBead Charitable Trust – the tables were chocka with a wonderful array of beautiful coloured beads, it was hard knowing where to begin really. It didn’t take long though for everyone to get head down and start making gorgeous necklaces, bracelets and earrings. It was a warm afternoon so we threw open the doors, everyone relaxed and quietly chatted away, a very peaceful time together.
