These months leading up to Christmas have been very busy in the Waikato with families with younger children having fun at Rotorua on the gondola, Luge, paddle boat, and Polynesian Spa. Families also had fun in Auckland at the Zoo. We have had well attended meetings in Matamata and Hamilton this month. Our guest speaker was Robyn Creighton from Look Good Feel Better and Wig Creations. She had some very good advice and also clarified the criteria for allowances for wigs, and for subsequent allowances for hair loss for the 2nd or 3rd time. Two of the Members booked in for a Look Good Feel Better workshop while Robyn was there. It was great seeing new Members attend and being warmlywelcomed by others. The information and stories shared are always a great help to new Members.

Some South Waikato Members met at the Lilypad Cafe (near Cambridge). Following our morning tea we strolled through the lovely outdoor sculpture gallery then into the beautiful gift shop – perfect timing with Christmas approaching. This venue is highly recommended by us all, so plan to visit it next time you are in the Waikato! A reminder about the final meeting of the year – at the Bandroom on Clyde St, at 10.30am on Friday 28th of November.
