Our last Hamilton meeting had a Christmas theme—Dianne Derbyshire taught us to make simple but very beautiful floral table centres that we can make again and look very ‘clever’ for Christmas. For longer lasting flowers, Dianne advised us to trim all the leaves off the stems which will be in water and to dunk the cut stems in boiling water for a few minutes before placing in a vase.
