Support Coordinator Auckland: Central, East and South – 20 hours per week 

Make a difference with kindness and connection; Flexible 20 hours per week; $65-69k Pro-rata.

As a Support Coordinator at Sweet Louise you will have daily interaction with your own caseload of members. Your members are people with incurable breast cancer and your role is to support them to live the best lives possible, for as long as possible. You will offer them a range of practical Sweet Louise services and community connections. Both offering and witnessing positive change in your members’ lives will allow you to go home happy and rewarded.

Sweet Louise was set up in 2007 and remains the only charity in New Zealand solely dedicated to supporting those with incurable breast cancer. Sadly, this devastating diagnosis affects hundreds of people every year. Sweet Louise works all over New Zealand to provide emotional and practical support to assist our members live the best lives possible for as long as they can. Advanced breast cancer does not discriminate, so our members come from all walks of life and the type and level of support varies with each member.

This role covers the Auckland Central, East and South area. You will need to be able to build rapport with people from different cultures, socio-economic backgrounds, age and education.

You will need a nursing or allied health and palliative care or oncology background with appropriate qualifications.

Being self-motivated and able to manage and prioritise a fast paced busy job is vital to succeed in this role.

You will be working both independently, and as part of a wider supportive team of 6 Support Coordinators.

Based from our Ponsonby office, the role is 20hr per week, offers flexibility and regular external supervision.

You will require a full driver’s license and have your own transport.
