We had a lovely October meeting in Auckland. A special thank you to the ladies Carlene, Ida, Maria and Christine from Whiri Aroha (which means weaving with love) who spent a very relaxing and enjoyable hour teaching us to make flax flowers.They also showed some examples of korowhai (cloaks) that they weave with feathers. All the ladies enjoyed taking the flowers they weaved and a few more gifted from the ladies home.A Special Thank You
